Mon. Sept. 26th Target:
1. Please continue working your Advertising & Promotion and Photography Assignments. Both due: Tuesday, Sept. 27th (end of class). Gillian & Haylea are in charge of making sure all cameras are picked up (from Mr. Warren in the Business office TW10) with their appropriate lens caps, memory cards, uploaders and battery chargers. There are three cameras available for classtime and the two main SLR cameras will be signed out for after school events...please read below.
2. Please continue to visit local businesses to solicit prizes for the draw and to sell ad space. Please concentrate on selling full page sponsor ads (those are the ones that cost the business $100 to sponsor an entire page - they are the ads that make us the most money and do not take up precious yearbook space). Not only do you earn a free yearbook for soliciting $225 in ad sales but I am having my own incentive for the staff member who sells the most ads (or generates the biggest prize).
3. There is a cross country practice today at 3:20pm. I need Tyler to cover it (so Tyler, you will need a camera and another Photography Planner booklet (which you can print out - link under Sept. 22nd agenda). Mr. Biegalski and the team meet at 315-320pm in front of the Phys Ed. office. If Tyler cannot attend for some reason, then Madison I need you to cover it, as Caraee and Rachel will be playing (and covering) the basketball games afterschool. Caraee, please make sure to take a camera to the games with you and make sure you also print out a Photography Planner (Tyler can show you what needs to be filled out). You may take the cameras right after class and store them in your locker (as long as you don't have a locker partner) but just let Mr. Warren know (otherwise, you can just arrange to pick them up with him before you have to leave).
Note: I am away all day at DECA Business Club conference. Have a good day!
